Abstract: Disclosed is a medical image analysis and visualization system comprising a medical image acquisition interface, a server, and an augmented-reality wearable visualization device. The medical image acquisition interface receives digital medical image data corresponding to a brain region of a subject. The server validates the digital medical image data, pre-processes the digital medical image data, analyses the processed image data to generate image-analysis output associated with a region of interest, and generates visualization data comprising region-of-interest information, boundary information, extent information, classification output information, or anatomical location information. The server transmits the visualization data to the augmented-reality wearable visualization device. The augmented-reality wearable visualization device comprises a head-mounted display and a spatial rendering processor. The spatial rendering processor converts the visualization data into a three- dimensional visualization, and the head-mounted display renders the three-dimensional visualization for review by a healthcare user.
