MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544123450 A) filed by Oerlikon Textile Gmbh & Co. Kg on December 08, 2025, for Melt-Spinning Apparatus For Extruding Synthetic Filaments.

Inventors include Herrndorf, Marc-Andr; Plckebaum, Martin; and Fischer, Martin.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a melt-spinning apparatus (1) for extruding synthetic fila-ments (F), in particular filaments made of polyamide, which during extrusion re-leases monomeric and/or oligomeric compounds, comprising a spinning beam (2) for extruding filaments (F) with a spinneret plate (20), by means of which the syn-thetic filaments (F) are extruded at a predetermined first temperature (T1) into an extrusion chamber (5) between the spinneret plate (20) and a cooling device for cooling the filaments (F), wherein the cooling device (6) defines a cooling cham-ber (8), in which the filaments (F) are cooled to a predetermined second tempera-ture (T2), wherein the extrusion chamber (5) is extended from the cooling cham-ber (8) by means of a decoupling extension (4) in such a way that, in an evapora-tion section (50), the first temperature (T1) is maintained at an evaporation tem-perature (TEVP) at which there is no deposition by condensation (K) of exhaust gas (70), in particular of monomeric and/or oligomeric compounds, in the decou-pling extension (4).
