Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND A KIT FOR CALCULATING DONOR-DERIVED CELL-FREE NUCLEIC ACIDS IN A RECIPIENT The present invention relates to a plurality of forward primers and reverse primers, and to a kit comprising the plurality of primers, for the simultaneous amplification of circulating cell-free nucleic acid markers selected from a predefined panel of 71 single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) biomarkers. The plurality of primers is configured to amplify and analyze the selected SNP biomarkers for determining donor-derived cell-free nucleic acids in a biological sample obtained from a transplant recipient by an in vitro non- diagnostic method. The invention further relates to associated reagents, compositions, and workflows for amplification and analysis of the selected biomarkers. The amplified and analyzed biomarkers are useful for assessing donor-derived cellfree nucleic acids and have application in monitoring the status of a transplanted organ in the recipient.
