A method by which an SMF entity uses a QUIC connection for PDU session establishment in a wireless communication system according to the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a UPF entity, an N4 session establishment request message; receiving an N4 session establishment response message from the UPF entity in response to the N4 session establishment request message; transmitting, to a base station through an AMF entity, first N2 information based on the N4 session establishment response message; receiving second N2 information from the base station through the AMF entity; and performing communication by using a QUIC connection.
