The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOBILITY MANAGEMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORKS A user equipment (UE) and associated methods for managing mobility in a wireless communication network are disclosed. The UE is configured to receive, from a network node serving a source cell, configuration information for a mobility target that includes a list of one or more component cells associated with a carrier aggregation group. Upon receiving a cell switch command containing an index corresponding to an specific entry in that list, the UE selects a component cell based on the index. The UE then initiates a cell switch from the source cell to the target using at least one uplink channel resource of the selected component cell. This mechanism provides an efficient, index-based method for identifying specific resources during carrier aggregation transitions. (FIG. 14)
