Abstract: METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOBILITY MANAGEMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORKS A user equipment (UE) and method for facilitating mobility within a wireless communication network are disclosed. The UE comprises at least one processor and memory configured to receive configuration information from a network node for a mobility target, where the mobility target includes one or more component cells within a carrier aggregation group. The UE further receives a cell switch command from the network node, the command including an indication of a specific physical random access channel (PRACH) associated with one of the component cells. Based on this indication, the UE initiates a cell switch from a source cell to the mobility target using the identified PRACH. This allows for streamlined transitions and synchronized access in carrier aggregation scenarios. (FIG. 12)
