Abstract: A method and apparatus for in-loop filtering of reconstructed video are disclosed. According to the method, input data for a current block is received, wherein the input data comprises reconstructed samples of the current block and the current block comprises a luma component and one or more chroma components. ALF (Adaptive Loop Filter) fixed filters are applied to said one or more chroma components, wherein fixed filter parameters associated with the ALF fixed filters for said one or more chroma components are at least partially different from the fixed filter parameters associated with the ALF fixed filters for the luma component. Filtered output generated by said applying ALF fixed filter to said one or more chroma components is provided.
