Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND KIT FOR SIMULTANEOUS ISOLATION OF DNA, RNA, AND PROTEIN FROM MICROBIAL SAMPLES This invention provides a novel kit and method for the simultaneous isolation of DNA, RNA, and protein from microbial samples, including bacteria and fungi. The kit includes an optimized extraction buffer, phenol, alcohol, precipitation buffer, and other essential reagents. The method involves grinding microbial samples in liquid nitrogen, phase separation into aqueous and organic layers, and selective recovery of biomolecules. DNA and RNA are extracted from the aqueous phase using isopropanol and LiCl, while proteins are precipitated from the organic phase using cold methanol. The invention ensures high-purity biomolecules suitable for downstream applications such as PCR, cDNA synthesis, and SDS-PAGE. This cost-effective and time-efficient solution democratizes molecular biology research, making advanced techniques accessible to a broader audience.
