The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for adaptive navigation on touch-sensitive interfaces. The invention provides a dynamic navigation mechanism that generates a navigation interface proximate to a user interaction region on a touch-sensitive display. The interface comprises a plurality of selectable elements arranged relative to the interaction region to facilitate intuitive and ergonomic access. The system determines the interaction region based on user input characteristics and positions the selectable elements using reachability parameters associated with the user. Further, the system adapts the arrangement of the selectable elements over time based on user interaction data, including usage patterns and contextual relevance. The navigation interface may support gesture-based interaction and multi-level hierarchical navigation through concentric layers. The invention enhances one-handed usability, reduces interaction effort, and improves overall efficiency of navigation across various touch-enabled devices and platforms.
