Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method (500) and a system (108) for detecting anomaly cells in a network (106). The method includes extracting performance metrics for network cells. Additionally, the cell radius for each network cell is determined using morphological data, and cells are categorized within the determined cell radius based on building data. Clusters are formed, comprising network cells sharing common environmental and morphological features. Within each cluster, performance metrics are evaluated, and cells exhibiting anomalous behaviour are flagged as the anomaly cells based on this evaluation.
