MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202614053579 A) filed by Hcl Technologies Limited on April 27, 2026, for Method And System For Detecting Hardware-Level Security Anomalies In An Integrated Circuit.

Inventor includes Asheesh Tripathi.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING HARDWARE-LEVEL SECURITY ANOMALIES IN AN INTEGRATED CIRCUIT The present disclosure relates to method (400) of detecting and managing hardware-level security anomalies in an integrated circuit (IC) (116). During an enrolment phase, the method (100) includes receiving quantum-entropy data and generating the baseline quantum entropy fingerprint representative of normal physical behavior of the IC in operating conditions. During runtime operation of the IC, the method further includes obtaining runtime entropy samples associated with the IC and obtaining side- channel sensor data from at least two heterogeneous monitoring domains. The method (100) may further include capturing stimulated response outputs, obtaining conditioned and time-aligned entropy signals and side-channel sensor signals, generating a composite anomaly feature vector, generating an anomaly score, and detecting a hardware-level security anomaly in the IC.
