Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING A PLURALITY OF DESIGN PARAMETERS ASSOCIATED WITH RUBBER MEMBRANE SWITCH The present disclosure provides a method (400) for determining design parameters associated with a rubber membrane (106) of a switch. The method (400) includes receiving performance parameters including desired actuation force (AF) and desired snap ratio (SR). The method (400) includes determining design parameters using an empirical model. The design parameters include key diameter (D1), web diameter (D2), key height (L1), height from a key top surface to a contact pill (L2), travel length with a pill thickness (S), angle between a web and a base (?), and web thickness (THK). The method (400) includes providing the design parameters to a 3D designing software. The method (400) includes creating a 3D model of the rubber membrane (106) based on the determined design parameters.
