The method (300) includes generating a first smart contract (SC1) to manage the registration process of suppliers in a blockchain-based supply chain system, a plurality of second smart contracts (SC2) to record product-related information of the registered suppliers, and securely capturing the product-related information in the second smart contract (SC2) for each supplier of the registered suppliers.
