Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a method and system (201) for generating a 3-dimensional (3D) customised facial image of a user in a virtual environment. The method comprising generating (501) a 3D facial representation of the user based on a first facial image of the user. Further, receiving (503) at least one of first information corresponding to customization of a facial attribute of the user and second information corresponding to attachment of a facial accessory to the user. The method further comprises modifying (505) the generated 3D facial representation based on the first information or generating a 3D facial accessory representation based on the second information. Finally, the method comprises generating (507) 3D customised image. The 3D customised image of the user is generated based on one of the modified 3D facial representations of the user or by combining the 3D facial accessory representation with one of the modified 3D facial representations of the user or the generated the 3D facial representation of the user.
