Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING TEST CASES FROM MULTIMODAL PRODUCT SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT A method (500) and system (100) for generating test cases from a multimodal product specification document are disclosed. The multimodal product specification document is received, the document including textual content and visual content associated with product functionalities of a device under test. Story portions are identified using structure indicators associated with user stories. For each story portion, a semantic map is generated by correlating extracted textual content with visual-semantic content generated using a vision-language model (VLM) (118) from visual content. A feature map associates product functionalities with an applicable state or a non-applicable state. Filtered content is generated by retaining applicable content and omitting non-applicable content. Test cases are generated using a large language model (LLM) (120) and output in an output format associated with a test environment. [
