Inventors include Sharma, Shivagya; Sahoo, Devdutt; Kushwaha, Nidhi; Prakash, Surya; and Howladar, Pampa.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INFECTIOUS DISEASE VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT ACROSS A PLURALITY OF GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS Provided are system (100) and method (300) for infectious disease vulnerability assessment across a plurality of geographic regions. The method comprises receiving (302) heterogeneous multi-domain data (103) associated with the plurality of geographic regions from one or more data sources (102) and generating an enriched multi-domain dataset through feature engineering and preprocessing operations. Further, the method comprises processing the multi-domain data using a first predictive pipeline (310) configured to process an integrated dataset and a second predictive pipeline (312) configured to process domain- specific datasets using a selective feature fusion architecture. The method further comprises comparing (314) predictive performance of the predictive pipelines and selecting (316) a final predictive pipeline for generating vulnerability classifications and determining contribution values associated with predictive features using an explainable artificial intelligence engine. Moreover, the method comprises generating (320) preparedness recommendations for assisting infectious disease preparedness and public-health-related decision-making operations.
