The functionality set (410F) comprises operations and settings for the devices (350A-350F). The method (1000) further includes generating (1004) an inter-device functionality map (420-M) comprising inter-device relationship information based on the generated functionality sets (410F). Furthermore, the method (1000) includes receiving (1006) a request for a desired operation pertaining to a first device (350A) and identifying (1008) one or more second devices (350B) for which the settings impact the desired operation. The identification is based on the generated inter-device functionality map (420-M). The method (1000) further includes modifying (1010) the settings for the desired operation based upon a current-status of the identified second-device (350B).
