A processor (104) receives a set of user instructions comprising a number of iterations and a set of code migration instructions. A preliminary target code (600) is determined in the target programming language based on prompting the LLM (122) using one or more of a 10 set of optimized prompts and the source code. An evaluation report (700) is determined for the preliminary target code (600) based on prompting the LLM (122) using one from the set of optimized prompts, the set of code migration instructions and the preliminary target code (600) of a current iteration.
