Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MUTATION-AWARE TRANSACTIONAL CRYPTOGRAPHIC EPOCH MIGRATION OF PROTECTED RUNTIME STATES A computing system (100) comprises a processor (102) and a memory (104) storing a cryptographic runtime (106) for transitioning protected runtime states (200) between epochs. A cryptographic migration transaction manager (140) creates a migration transaction recording a captured dependency generation of a protected- state dependency structure maintained by a protected-state dependency tracker (120). A migration-closure engine (130) determines, against the captured dependency generation, a migration closure of states to transition in coordination. A shadow-state reconstruction engine (150) constructs non-active replacement protected states while source-epoch states remain authoritative. A mutation-aware migration guard (160) detects dependency mutations before commit and withholds publication until the migration closure is revalidated, or aborts. When a commit-validation controller (170) determines that an execution-consistency condition is satisfied, an active cryptographic-epoch publication mechanism (180) publishes the target epoch. A protected-execution admission gate (190) blocks or delays a protected operation (210) using states incompatible with the active epoch. (Fig. 1)
