MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521032029 A) filed by Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited on March 31, 2025, for Method And System For Optimizing Airflow Performance In A Vehicle.

Inventors include Vivek Kumar; Eshaan Ayyar; Prasad Rameshrao Kulkarni; and Dilip Kumar Sahu.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING AIRFLOW PERFORMANCE IN A VEHICLE The present disclosure relates to a method (400) and system (300) for optimizing airflow performance in a vehicle. The method (4000 comprises receiving (402) a set of input parameters including a core area of a heat exchanger, a fan speed, an effective opening area, a vehicle speed, and an opening percentage of the core area. The method (400) also comprises providing (404), to an AI model (307), the set of input parameters and at least one target component, to generate a validation score for the at least one target component. Further, the method (400) comprises adjusting (406), using an optimization technique, the set of input parameters until the validation score of the at least one target component meets a respective predefined performance threshold of the at least one target component. Lastly, the method (400) comprises providing (408) the adjusted set of input parameters for optimization of airflow performance. FIG. 1
