MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541007309 A) filed by Flying Flamingos India Private Limited on January 29, 2025, for Method And System For Real Time Image Tracking.

Inventors include Amit Gaiki; Shourya Agarwal; and Prakharkumar Srivastava.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: [0001] The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method (300) for adaptive image tracking. The system (100) includes one or more processors (202) and a non-transitory memory (204) for storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the one or more processors (202), cause the system (100) to receive, using a receiving module (206), a target image and a query image of a physical environment. The system (100) detects, using a keypoint detection module (208), a plurality of keypoints in the target image, and generates, using a descriptor generation module (210), one or more descriptor distributions defining pixel-pair intensity relationships. The system (100) computes binary descriptors, re-identifies keypoints of the target image in the query image, and evaluates the descriptor distributions to determine a suitability score. The system (100) selects an optimal descriptor distribution and tracks the target image across frames for stable and illumination-robust mixed reality rendering. FIG. 1
