The method (500) includes identifying (504) a serial number from the first complete image using an object detection model. The method (500) includes validating (506) the serial number based on a plurality of serial numbers stored in a database (214). Upon successful validation, the method (500) includes retrieving (508) a validation image vector corresponding to the serial number from the database (214). The method (500) includes capturing (510), via the camera (410), a first regional image in the proximal region relative to the anchor point of the currency note.
