Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method to determine a sustainability green score (GS) of user in a device. The data sources available in device such as messages and/or emails are used in the GS calculation method (GSM). The data source for GS measurements are authentic. A GS is determined using artificial intelligence in user’s electronic device. GSM uses 1) context from user persona, 2) context from every incoming messages and/or emails as input. For every input message and / or emails, multiple contexts are extracted and each context is classified into parameters like environment, economic, social and governance (EESG). Based on user persona parameters like income range, location, age range, education, expenditure pattern, etc., weightages of EESG parameters are dynamically determined and used in GSM. For privacy reasons, GS is determined in user’s electronic device. The GS is displayed on a display of the device. Based on the GS, recommendations are provided to user to improve the GS. The reasons that causes the increase or decrease of GS are displayed in the display. User’s GS is notified to the financial institutions or banks to initiate incentives process in the background. User may be incentivized by banks or equivalent authority to encourage sustainable users. Group GS and auditing capability of GS is included. User persona is monitored for errors and corrections in EESG weightages are handled accordingly. If user uses multiple electronic devices, duplicates are determined, eliminated in the final aggregated GS for the user.
