Inventors include Schreieck, Lucas; Mcmillen, Brandon J. European; Aher, Narendra Arjun; Dutta, Saurav; and Thiruvalluvan, Sandeep.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a height position (pos_h) that is to be set for a power lift (14) mounted on a utility vehicle (10) and coupled to an attachment (16) for soil cultivation. A force sensor (22) is used to determine an actual tractive force (F_sen) acting on the power lift (14). An additional sensor (32) is used to determine at least one soil parameter (para_b) of the soil (18, 20) that has been cultivated or is to be cultivated. The height position (pos_h) that is to be set is determined in dependence on the actual tractive force (F_sen) and the at least one soil parameter (para_b). The invention also relates to a utility vehicle (10) having a control unit (24) for carrying out such a method. Fig. 1
