Abstract: A foldable electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise: a first antenna included in a first housing of the electronic device and configured to transmit or receive a signal associated with network communication; a second antenna included in a second housing of the electronic device and configured to transmit or receive a signal associated with the network communication; at least one RFIC electrically connected to each of the first antenna and the second antenna; a memory for storing instructions; and at least one processor connected to the memory and the at least one RFIC. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the electronic device to identify a first received signal strength corresponding to the first antenna and a second received signal strength corresponding to the second antenna. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the electronic device to determine whether the value of a first parameter identified on the basis of the first received signal strength and the second received signal strength is smaller than a threshold value. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the electronic device to determine whether the electronic device is in a folded state. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the electronic device to configure to transmit signals by using the first antenna and the second antenna on the basis of the determination that the value of the first parameter is smaller than the threshold value and the electronic device is in the folded state. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the electronic device to control the at least one RFIC to transmit the signals of the same phase via the first antenna and the second antenna.
