Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD FOR ENHANCED TREATMENT OF FUNGAL SKIN INFECTIONS Disclosed herein a method (100) for preparing an antifungal cream for treating fungal skin infections, the method comprises selecting active pharmaceutical ingredients comprising Terbinafine Hydrochloride and Ketoconazole. The method further comprises formulating a cream base by combining primary and secondary emulsifiers, waxy substances, co-solvents, acids, preservatives, buffering agents, antioxidants, chelating agents, humectants, and water. Further, integrating Chitosan into the cream base to enhance antimicrobial and wound-healing properties. Further, dispersing the active pharmaceutical ingredients into the cream base to achieve uniform distribution. Further, adjusting the pH of the formulation to ensure stability and compatibility with skin. Further, homogenizing the formulation to achieve a stable and smooth cream consistency and packaging the prepared antifungal cream in suitable containers. FIG.1
