Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD FOR FORMULATING BLACK TURMERIC-BASED CREAM FOR BURN TREATMENT Disclosed herein a method (100) for formulating a black turmeric-based cream for second-degree burn treatment, the method comprises extracting active components from black turmeric (Curcuma caesia) using a solvent-based extraction process. The method further comprises preparing a cream base comprising emollients, humectants, and stabilizing agents. Further, incorporating the black turmeric extract into the cream base in a concentration range of 0.5% to 5% by weight. Further, homogenizing the mixture to ensure uniform dispersion of the extract. Further, adjusting the pH of the formulation to a range of 5.5 to 6.5 to match skin compatibility and packaging the cream in an airtight container to maintain stability and shelf life. FIG.1
