A user equipment, UE, (102) receives (304), from a network entity (104), a configuration for a second downlink reference signal, DL-RS, resource set for channel measurement and information associated with a first DL-RS resource set for beam prediction, the information corresponding to at least one of: a first DL-RS, a beam information identifier, ID, or beam determination assistance information for the first DL-RS resource set. The UE (102) receives (308), from the network entity (104), a second DL-RS on the second DL-RS resource set for the channel measurement. The UE (102) transmits (312), to the network entity (104), a report indicating the beam prediction based on the channel measurement and the information associated with the first DL-RS resource set.
