Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method (100) for preparing a broad-spectrum liquid bioformulation to manage root rot disease in mulberry plants. The method (100) involves collecting (102) soil samples from healthy mulberry rhizospheres, isolating and selecting microbial strains (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Lysinibacillus macroides, Bacillus subtilis) based on their antagonistic potential against root rot pathogens, and evaluating their compatibility with fungicides and each other. Compatible strains are combined into a microbial consortium and mixed with a liquid carrier medium comprising glycerol, Karanja oil, Triton X-100, Carbendazim 50% WP, bentonite powder, and sorbic acid to enhance efficacy and stability. The bioformulation is applied via soil drenching or drip irrigation, offering long-lasting protection, improved plant health, and an 84.4% suppression rate in field conditions.
