Abstract: Methods of pre-configuring AI/ML operations when multi-connectivity links are enabled in a wireless mobile communication system including base stations (e.g., gNB) and mobile stations (e.g., UE) are presented. If an AI/ML model is applied to a radio access network, model performance such as inferencing and/or training is dependent on different model execution environments with varying device capabilities. Therefore, by re-configuring any model in operation with multiple devices including relay links, the potential performance impact due to dynamic changes of applicable model conditions for LCM model operations can be reduced with model performance enhancements.
