Abstract: METHOD OF ASSEMBLING VOLTAGE SENSING TABS AND ROUTING OF WIRES IN LITHIUM ION BATTERY PACK OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE A method for assembling voltage sensing tabs in a lithium-ion battery pack for minimizing a variation in a voltage measurement is disclosed. The method comprising: providing a cell holder to secure voltage sensing tabs at a predetermined location on the lithium-ion battery pack; securing the voltage sensing tabs within the cell holder at the predetermined location by pressing and locking the voltage sensing tabs into the cell holder, wherein the voltage sensing tabs are a C-type clamp voltage sensing tabs; laser welding the voltage sensing tabs at the predetermined location on the cell holder; applying adhesive tapes at the predetermined locations on the cell holder for secure routing of sensing wires; positioning U-shaped side wire holders for routing of the sensing wires from sides of the battery pack; securing the sensing wires using the U-shaped side wire holders and adhesive tapes to maintain the position of the sensing wires during operation of the battery pack; and minimizing voltage measurement variation by ensuring secure locking and positioning of the voltage sensing tabs during operation of the battery pack.
