Abstract: Methods of using a pre-configured AI/ML (artificial intelligence/machine learning) based group model ID assignment in wireless mobile communication system including base station (e.g., gNB) and mobile station (e.g., UE). If an AI/ML model is applied to radio access network, signaling of model ID information exchange can be heavily congested based on different model execution environments with varying models. Therefore, model operation can be set up between the network and a UE by assigning a group model ID.
