Abstract: A method of performing maintenance of one or more hoist assemblies (106A-N) of a crane assembly (100) includes: (a) positioning one or more lock plates (116A-N) to an open position on a pair of split profile assembly (114A and 114B) to de-couple a pair of split profile assembly, (b) removing one or more coupling rods (120A-N) from at least one of (a) the pair of mounting brackets (118A-N) or (b) one or more supporting plates (136A-N), (c) de-coupling the pair of split profile assembly from one or more structured crane rails (104A-N), (d) moving one or more hoist assemblies or the one or more structured crane rails to a defined position where the pair of split profile assembly is positioned on one or more structured crane rails, and (e) performing maintenance on a hoist assembly at the defined position where the split profile assembly is decoupled.
