Abstract: A UE, baseband processor, and network device are described. The UE and baseband processor can perform receiving, from a network device, control signaling that configures a plurality of measurement gap configurations for the UE. Each measurement gap configuration of the plurality of measurement gap configurations identifies a time window. UE and baseband processor receive, from the network device, a control message that indicates, for each measurement gap configuration of the plurality of measurement gap configurations, a priority of a measurement gap relative to downlink receptions or uplink transmissions to be performed during the measurement gap. The UE and baseband processor then determine whether to receive on a downlink or transmit on an uplink, during the measurement gap of at least one measurement gap configuration of the plurality of measurement gap configurations, based on the indicated priority of the measurement gap.
