Abstract: ABSTRACT METHODS AND SIGNALING FOR DETECTION OF SIGNALS AND CHANNELS FOR AMBIENT IoT COMMUNICATION According to an embodiment, a method for detecting signaling components in an Ambient Internet-of-Things (A-IoT) communication network is disclosed. The method comprises monitoring, by a first node, one of a downlink (DL) signal and a DL channel for DL messages. Further, the method comprises receiving, by the first node, a first signal comprising a start indicator (SI) signal and a clock acquisition (CA) signal, where the SI signal comprises a first pattern and the CA signal comprises a second pattern. Further, the method comprises determining, by the first node, at least one synchronization parameter based on the CA signal. Further, the method comprises receiving, by the first node, a second signal, where receiving starts after a first number of bits associated with SIP signal and a second number of bits associated with the CA signal.
