MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647124229 A) filed by Microcomplex LLC on October 16, 2026, for Micro-Implement And Method For Producing Same.
Inventors include Tobinaga Yoshikazu; and Saito Toshihiro.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Provided are a micro-implement having an excellent effect in administering a functional component from a microneedle and a method for producing a micro-implement that can form a desired shape with good shape quality even when a microneedle is formed from maltose on a substrate and that can freely form the microneedles in the desired arrangement at excellent productivity. Specifically, a substrate (1) comprising a polymer material to which maltose can adhere, and microneedles (2) disposed on the surface (1a) of the substrate (1) and formed using pure maltose or a maltose composite material with which one or more functional components have been mixed are provided. The plurality of fine needles (2) are disposed at least partially irregularly in plan view on the surface (1a) of the substrate (1) and are provided freely arranged by each being individually formed.
