Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a control device and a method for peak current estimation in resonant converters. The control device comprising: an input unit configured to obtain a plurality of voltage parameters of a resonant converter; an analog to digital converter (ADC) configured to perform sampling the plurality of voltage parameters at specific time intervals; and a control unit is configured to: determine an initial current value of the resonant converter based on the sampled input voltage ?????? , output voltage ???? , and resonant capacitor voltage ?????? at the specific time intervals; and estimate a peak current value of the resonant converter based on the initial current value and the resonant capacitor voltage ?????? sampled at predefined time intervals of the specific time intervals.
