Abstract: ABSTRACT: Title: Modelling and Fabrication of Arduino Controlled Humanoid Greeting Manipulator The present invention relates to the design and development of an Arduino-based humanoid greeting manipulator capable of performing human-like gestures such as greeting, guiding, and interacting with individuals. The system (100) integrates mechanical, electronic, and software components, featuring a five degrees-of-freedom (DOF) robotic arm and body structure, controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. The manipulator utilizes a Bluetooth module (HC-05) for wireless communication and receives control commands from mobile or PC devices. The structure is fabricated using cost-effective materials such as mild steel and iron links to ensure low production cost and ease of maintenance. Key components include a 12V lithium-ion battery for autonomous operation, servo and DC motors for motion control, and an ultrasonic sensor for environmental detection and interaction. This invention demonstrates a practical, scalable, and low-cost solution for human-robot interaction tasks.
