Abstract: ABSTRACT MODULAR AGRICULTURAL ROVER WITH DUAL-POWER ARCHITECTURE A modular agricultural rover (100) comprises a chassis (102) supporting a tracked locomotion assembly (104) having dual motors coupled to continuous tracks, a processing unit (106) mounted on the chassis (102) and configured to execute multi-threaded control software, a camera assembly (108) mounted on a pan/tilt mechanism (110), a mechanical arm (112) extending from the chassis (102) and terminating in a gripper (114), an inertial measurement unit (116) configured to detect orientation of the chassis (102), a first power supply (118) electrically connected to the processing unit (106), a second power supply (120) electrically connected to the dual motors and the mechanical arm (112), and a unified ground connection (122) electrically coupling the first power supply (118) and the second power supply (120). The processing unit (106) executes concurrent threads comprising a sensor polling thread, a safety override thread, and a web server thread. (Fig. 1)
