Abstract: A modular glenoid implant for use in shoulder replacement system, comprising top component having articulating surface on one side configured to engage with humeral head implant and connection interface on opposite side, where connection interface comprises plurality of tab structures, each tab structure defining locking slot. Modular glenoid implant further comprises bottom component selected from plurality of interchangeable bottom components configured for bone fixation, where each bottom component comprises coupling surface configured to mechanically couple with connection interface of top component, and plurality of compressible locking teeth extending from the coupling surface, each locking tooth having wider head portion and narrower neck portion. Each locking tooth is configured to elastically compress when inserted through narrower entry portion of corresponding locking slot and elastically expand when wider head portion reaches wider locking portion of the corresponding locking slot, thereby creating secure mechanical interlock between top component and bottom component.
