Abstract: A modular hydrogen-to-power conversion skid for rapid deployment of electrical power skid, a hydrogen storage section comprising at least one hydrogen storage vessel selected from a composite cylinder bank or a metal hydride vessel , a fuel cell section to convert hydrogen into direct-current (DC) electrical power, a power conversion section disposed to provide grid-compatible alternating-current (AC) output and/or regulated DC output, a control and protection section to execute an automated startup sequence, load-following control, and protective shutdown, a standardized interconnect panel comprising quick-connect ports, a sensor and safety section to detect unsafe operating conditions and command an emergency shutdown, the thermal management section comprises a heat recovery interface configured to provide usable thermal energy for space heating, water heating, or process heat at the deployment site to maintain operating temperature of the fuel cell modules and the power conversion section for plug-and-play installation at a site.
