MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441100703 A) filed by Adarsh Moda on December 19, 2024, for Modular Joinery System.

Inventor includes Adarsh Moda.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: A modular joinery system (100) for facilitating precise/strong interlocking mechanism that supports versatile applications through rapid assembly and disassembly includes a first spiralling geometry (102A) having a first spiralling channel (104A) formed along a three-dimensional spiral surface, and a second spiralling geometry (102B) having a second spiralling channel (104B). The second spiralling geometry is formed by rotating the first spiralling geometry by about 180 degrees, such that the first spiralling geometry and the second spiralling geometry are identical in size, shape, and form, and are complementary upon the rotation. The geometries (102A- B) are coaxially aligned along a central spiral axis and are rotatable relative to each other such that, upon rotation, the mirrored spirals slide together to form a self- locking joint without external fasteners. The interlocked geometries (102A-B) further function as a hinge, permitting rotational movement of 360 degrees or more or as a fixed joinery. FIG. 1
