Inventor includes Rajchandar K.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: MODULAR ROBOTIC ARM FOR ADAPTIVE OBJECT MANIPULATION AND METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT A modular robotic arm (100) for adaptive object manipulation is disclosed. The robotic arm (100) comprising a modular joint assembly (102) comprising magnetic attachment interfaces (104a) and magnetic locking joints (104b) to detachably couple interchangeable joint segments (104c) and provide a reconfigurable movement of the modular robotic arm (100), a vision sensor (106) to capture visual data, a tactile sensing assembly (108) to capture tactile data, a sensor fusion unit (112) to receive and combine the visual data and the tactile data, a deep learning engine (114) to determine grasp parameters. The modular robotic arm (100) is configured to receive the visual data and tactile data, process the received data, determine grip force variables and joint movement parameters, and control movement of the modular joint assembly (102) and gripping operation of a gripper assembly (110) for adaptive manipulation of the object.
