Abstract: The present invention discloses a modular storage unit (114, 120) of a vehicle (100). The modular storage unit (114, 120) includes an upper storage member (238) and a lower storage member (236, 240). The upper storage member (238) includes a first peripheral wall member (244) defining a first space (245) therein. The lower storage member (236, 240) includes a base member (250), and a second peripheral wall member (252) surrounding the base member (250) and defining a second space (254) therein. The lower storage member (236, 240) is removably secured to the upper storage member (238). Further, the lower storage member (236, 240) and the upper storage member (238) define a combined storage space (255). The modular storage unit (114, 120) further includes an auxiliary frame (224) that removably secures the lower storage member (236).
