Abstract: The present disclosure relates to device (100) and method (200) for monitoring glucose-alcohol interaction associated with a user. In one example, the device (100) may include sensors (104) (example- glucose sensor, physiological sensor, and/or transdermal alcohol sensor) and controller (106). On obtaining sensor data comprising glucose data, physiological data, and alcohol exposure data from the sensors (104), the controller (106) establishes a personalized circadian pattern based on the sensor data collected during baseline monitoring period. Additionally, the controller (106) obtains contextual data to determine alcohol exposure based on alcohol exposure data, user-provided alcohol consumption information, beverage information, and/or physiological response patterns. Then, based on personalized circadian pattern, alcohol exposure, contextual data, and real-time sensor data, a personalized intoxication risk score indicative of a risk associated with glucose-alcohol interaction may be generated by the controller (106), based on which a risk alert to support harm-reduction decisions is provided.
