MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521128355 A) filed by Mg Health Tech Inc. on December 17, 2025, for Motion-Adaptive Radiobiological Optimization System And Method Of Working Thereof.
Inventors include Manikandan Muthu; Ganesh Natesan; and Natarajan Shriethar.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT MOTION-ADAPTIVE RADIOBIOLOGICAL OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF WORKING THEREOF Disclosed is a motion-adaptive radiobiological optimization system (100) for radiotherapy planning and real-time delivery control is disclosed. The system includes a data-acquisition unit (102) configured to receive four-dimensional CT datasets, anatomical segmentations, and real-time intrafraction motion parameters. Processing circuitry (104) model motion as a continuous stochastic process, computes motion-averaged dose using GPU-accelerated convolution-superposition, and evaluates voxel-wise tumor control probability (TCP) and normal-tissue complication probability (NTCP). A composite biological objective function is optimized using gradient-based, uncertainty- bounded updates with convergence guarantees. A machine-control unit (116) generates real-time corrective commands to adjust MLC positions, gantry motion, gating signals, and sub-projection fluence during beam delivery. The system enables closed-loop adaptive radiotherapy with improved accuracy under dynamic motion conditions. The present disclosure also relates to method (200) for motion-adaptive radiobiological optimization for radiotherapy approach planning and real-time delivery control by way of the system (100).
