The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent motorized trafficator system designed for guiding heavy vehicles near low-clearance railway bridge bumper blocks to prevent structural collisions and traffic congestion. The system comprises dual ultrasonic sensors mounted at a predefined permissible height to continuously monitor the vertical clearance of approaching vehicles. The sensed data is transmitted to an Arduino Nano microcontroller configured with a threshold-based decision algorithm to determine whether the vehicle exceeds the allowable height limit. • Upon detection of an over-height vehicle, the system automatically actuates a servo-driven motorized trafficator arm to a stop position, thereby physically and visually restricting vehicle entry into the low-clearance zone. Simultaneously, a high-intensity RGB LED strip provides real-time visual indication, and an audible buzzer generates warning alerts to notify the driver and surrounding traffic authorities. For vehicles within safe height limits, the system maintains a green indication and allows uninterrupted passage. • The invention is powered by a solar energy module integrated with a rechargeable battery unit to ensure uninterrupted 24-hour operation in remote or grid-independent locations. The proposed system offers a cost-effective, automated, and energy-efficient solution to reduce railway bridge damage, minimize traffic disruptions, enhance public safety, and support smart transportation infrastructure development.
