Abstract: The present invention provides a mountable infotainment control system 100 for a vehicle 400. The mountable infotainment control system 100 include a projection module 200, and an electronic control unit (ECU) 306. The projection module 200 may include a housing 202, a projector 206 and at least one camera sensor 208 mounted to the housing 202. The ECU 306 is coupled to a main infotainment system 302 and a HVAC system 304. The ECU 306 may receive one or more control signals from the camera sensor 208 to identifying direction of hand movement of a passenger seating in a rear seat and adjust alignment of the projector 206 to project one or more infotainment icons 104 on a surface proximate to the direction of the detected hand movement for selection of the infotainment control icon 104 by the passenger inside the vehicle 400.
