MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641085412 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on July 13, 2026, for Movable Laundry Stone Slab With Customized Angular And Height Adjusting Facility.

Abstract: An adjustable and movable laundry workstation comprises a stable base stand (1) anchored firmly by floor clamps (2) supporting a hollow vertical column (3). Inside the vertical column (3), a hydraulic plunger (4) extends vertically via a hydraulic foot pump (8) and retracts via a release pedal (9). A laundry stone slab (5) is connected to the top of the hydraulic plunger (4) using a horizontal pivot (12) for tilting. A peripheral drain tray (6) with an attached spill water drain pipe (7) captures and routes wastewater away cleanly. Foldable side attachments including a water bucket holding stand (10) and a washed clothes holding stand (11) rotate out to hold laundry accessories ergonomically.
