Abstract: The invention presents a multi-sensor-based automated irrigation control system for agricultural applications. The system consists of a soil moisture sensor, an environmental monitoring sensor, a microcontroller processing unit, a relay switching module, and a water pump. The soil moisture sensor measures the moisture level present in the soil. In parallel, the environmental sensor monitors the atmospheric conditions such as temperature and humidity. The microcontroller processes both the information from sensor inputs and determines irrigation requirements based on given predefined threshold values. When irrigation is required, the signal is sent through a relay module that activates the water pump to supply water to the soil. Once the desired moisture level is achieved, the system automatically stops the irrigation process. This invention improves irrigation efficiency, reduces water wastage and minimizes manual intervention in the agricultural systems.
